New Decade, Who Dis?

When Stay True Health and Fitness kicked off in 2010 we had no idea where we would be here 10 years later! CrossFit came into our lives in 2011 and we became an affiliate in January of 2012 in Gladstone. While things were going really well for us we were unable to run our dream gym in the Gladstone region so we took a chance packed up and relocated to the Gympie area in April of 2013. We are have been here ever since!

Over the last 10 years our goals and the goals of our members has always been changing and evolving. We have made the truly tough decision of not renewing our affiliation with CrossFit in 2020. In the last 12-18 months we have branched out our training to include the broader community by offering more senior and disability services. Coming into 2020 we intend to continue to expand on that.

What does this change mean for you? If you are a currently a member, not too much. Our early morning and evening group classes will still be powering on as usual. We will still be out at Tin Can Bay on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Our weightlifting club is still as strong as ever. For new people, it may mean we now have a service to best suit you and your needs.

We have some new exciting programs coming, including a new class specifically for young adults on the autism spectrum and skill based workshops for members and non-members. We also have a bigger capacity to take on more personal training for locals with NDIS packages.

We are looking forward to 2020 and everything after that. Cheers to another 10 years! 🍻
