Cameron Arthur
Cameron is the head coach for the Stay True Weightlifting Club.

“With over 13 years in the industry, I started my fitness career wanting to bring functionality back into the aged communities’ lives.
Working in gyms as a gym instructor and personal trainer and owning my own business. I have worked with a wide range of the community and special populations.
In January 2012 I affiliated with CrossFit and our journey took an exciting turn, achieving greater results and changing people’s lives. How? CrossFit made people passionate about fitness and with the challenges they faced they grew as people. These ordinary people achieved extraordinary feats due to our coaching and our CrossFit community.
I was introduced to Olympic weightlifting through CrossFit and the sport stole my heart. Since dedicating myself to weightlifting, every waking moment has been learning and improving myself and my athletes.
I founded Stay True Weightlifting Club in 2013 and since then our weightlifting club has grown to accommodate all levels of athletes and become part of Queensland Weightlifting. I am blessed to have a dedicated team that supports each other through everyday training sessions, local club competitions and on the state and national stage. Without the support of everyone, the club wouldn’t exist and we definitely wouldn’t be where we are today.
My career goals are to continue representing Queensland and to work towards coaching the national teams with one day joining the commonwealth and olympic squads.”

Since then, I have completed a number of courses and seminars to try and bring the best information and services to our clients.
